Team India Crush Australia To Register A Win By 295 Runs On Day 4: Jasprit Bumrah and co. took a commanding 1-0 series lead as Australia were completely thrashed in first Test. Despite Travis Head and Mitchell Marsh’s efforts Australia’s batting order completely collapsed. When the Aussies came into bat in the second innings Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj gave India a breakthrough at the very start. Nathan McSweeney was dismissed by Bumrah in the very first over, while Australian skipper Pat Cummins was sent back by Mohammed Siraj as his catch was taken by Virat Kohli.
The struggle didn’t end for Australia here, Marnus Labuschagne was dismissed by Jasprit Bumrah before Day 3 stumps.
At the very beginning of Day 4, Mohammed Siraj dismissed Usman Khwaja, as he tried to execute a big hit but was caught by wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant. Going further Siraj dismissed Steve Smith.
Travis Head and Mitchell Marsh formed a strong partnership for Australia but a storm named Bumrah came in and dismissed Head. Nitish Reddy also joined the party as he picked his first Test wicket dismissing Mitchell Marsh. Washington Sundar sent back the tail as he dismissed Nathan Lyon and Mitchell Starc. The final wicket of Alex Carey was taken by Harshit Rana.

On Day 3 of the first Test in Perth, Jasprit Bumrah shone with the ball as India dominated the game, leaving Australia in deep trouble when play ended at the beginning of the final session. At stumps, the hosts were struggling at 12/3 while still needing a daunting 522 runs to win, with two full days of play remaining. Only one batter survived: Usman Khawaja (3*). Nathan McSweeney and Marnus Labuschagne fell off consecutive deliveries to Bumrah. Mohammed Siraj followed the suit, dismissing Australia skipper Pat Cummins. Now, India need only seven more wickets for a commanding 1-0 series lead.

Earlier in the day, Virat Kohli brought up a memorable century, playing a key role in India’s declaration at 487/6. However, it was the young sensation Yashasvi Jaiswal who stole the show with a brilliant 161-run knock, putting India in an incredibly strong position.

India’s batting woes continued as they were bowled out for just 150 on Day 1 of the India vs Australia Test at Optus Stadium, Perth.
