India’s response began with a fiery opening that was set mainly by left-handed opener Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who launched a straight attack on Ali Raza by scoring 20 runs from the first over. On the other hand, the other opening partner of Suryavanshi would rely on the team captain Ayush Mhatre to hold the innings together but only managed to contribute a mere 2 runs before getting out to the same Ali Raza.
