India played against Pakistan in Under-19 Asia Cup Final at the ICC Academy Ground in Dubai. The Indian Team won the toss and opted to bowl first - a decision which did not go well in their favour as Pakistan scored a massive target of 347 runs in 50 overs. In the second innings, Indian boys could never find a momentum to handle the pressure and ultimately the batting order crumbled following which Pakistan registered a dashing win.
For Pakistan, Sameer Minhas was the star performer he smashed 172 runs in 113 balls and took Pakistan towards a formidable total. Apart from him Ahmed Hussain also scored a half-century and helped with his valuable contribution. For India Deepesh Devendran (3 wickets), Henil Patel (2 wickets), and Khilan Patel (2 wickets) were the top bowlers.

In the second innings, when India came in to bat - the team had a miserable start as skipper Ayush Mhatre fell at a mere score of 2. Pakistan started strong and went on to dismiss 6 Indian batters at a mere score of 80. India could never gain the momentum and the total seemed to be extremely tough to chase after many setbacks. India's star batter Vaibhav Suryavanshi also was dismissed at a mere score of 26 runs.

As the second innings started. Pakistani bowlers - Ali Raza, Mohammad Sayyam and Abdul Subhan built so much pressure on India that the team could never find back the momentum. Ali Raza emerged as the top bowler as he picked 4 wickets followed by Huzaifa Ahsan, Abdul Subhan and Mohammad Sayyam who took 2 wickets each.
