The ICC Rankings have been released and in a surprising turn of events, Pakistan’s 39-year old spinner Noman Ali has climbed the number two spot after producing a sensational performance against South Africa. He claimed 10 wickets in the match – six in the first innings and four in the second.
India’s star pacer Jasprit Bumrah continues to dominate the Test bowling rankings with 882 points and still goes strong as he took seven wickets in the recently concluded two-match Test series against West Indies. South Africa’s Kagiso Rabada has slipped from No.2 to No.5 spot while Australia’s Josh Hazlewood has also dropped by one spot and he now holds the sixth position. But Hazlewood made impressive progress in the ODI rankings and climbed six places to reach No.10 spot.

Pakistan’s Mohammad Rizwan also jumped four places to 16th spot in the Test batting rankings. India’s Test skipper Shubman Gill also moved up one spot. In ODIs, Shreyas Iyer has dropped a place and reached No.10 spot after average performance in first ODI against Australia. KL Rahul has climbed up one position to 14th after he scored steady 38 runs against Australia in 1st ODI.

England’s top spinner Adil Rashid climbed up to the second spot in T20I bowling rankings as he picked up four wickets in second T20I against New Zealand and guided his team towards a dashing win.
