Ravindra Jadeja: India won the first test match against Australia by an innings and 132 runs in Nagpur. The Australian team got all out to just 91 in the second innings on the third day of the first test match. Ravindra Jadeja was picked as player of the match for his extraordinary all-around performance. It was a comeback match for Ravindra Jadeja and he marked it as remarkable with his performance, but during the match, he landed himself into trouble too. The International Cricket Council (ICC) has fined him.
ICC has fined Jadeja
The ICC has fined all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja 25 percent of his match fee. Along with a demerit point. Demerit points will be added to Jadeja’s account. According to ICC, Ravindra Jadeja was found guilty of breaches of the Level-1 rule of the ICC. During the first inning of Australia Jadeja applied pain relief cream to his spinning finger without permission from the on-ground umpire, ICC considered this a violation of the ICC Code of Conduct.

ICC released a statement, In the statement, ICC says ‘Ravindra Jadeja was found guilty of breaching Article 2.20 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Support Staff.’ The ICC confirmed that Jadeja had accepted the offense and there was no need for a formal hearing.
