The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the shortlisted nominee of ICC Player of the Month for the month of August. Like every month, 3 players have been included in the men’s and women’s categories.

In the men’s category, two players from Pakistan and one from West Indies have been selected as nominees, while in the women’s category, players from Malaysia, Ireland, and the Netherlands have been shortlisted.

Pakistan Cricket team captains Babar Azam and All-rounder Shadab Khan have been nominated for the award with West Indies’ Nicholas Pooran as the third member.

In the women’s category, Malaysia all-rounder Ana Hamija Hashim, Ireland’s Arlene Kelly, and, Dutch opener Irish Jeweling have been shortlisted for their performances in the month of August.
