New Delhi: Pakistan player Nida Dar has won ICC Player of the Month award in the women’s category. She was in the race with two Indian players like Jemima Rodrigues and Deepti Sharma.
After winning the game, Dar said, “It was great to be nominated for the award, and to win it is very special to me. I wish we could have won the Women’s Asia Cup, but I am happy that we as a team are performing, and the recent series win against Ireland at home shows the commitment the girls are putting into their game.”

Adding to her post-win statement, Dar said, “I take great pride in representing my country and my aim is to contribute in my team winning as much as I can.”
Nida Dar gave brilliant performance in the recently concluded Asia Cup 2022. Though, Pakistan couldn’t win the tournament but she had garnered 145 runs with the average on 72.50 in six matches.

India batter Virat Kohli has achieved another milestone as he wins ‘Player of the Month’ for October after his brilliant knocks in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2022. After winning the tittle Virat Kohli said that he is honoured to have received this award.
“It is a great honour for me to have been voted the ICC Men’s Player of the Month for October. Being chosen as the standout player by fans across the globe as well as the panel makes this accolade even more special for me,” he said.
