The Indian Team skipper Suryakumar Yadav decided to donate all his individual match fees of Asia Cup 2025 to the Indian army and victims of the Pahalgam attack. The decision came after India won Asia Cup 2025 by defeating Pakistan in the final at Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
“I have decided to donate my match fees from this tournament to support our Armed Forces and the families of the victims who suffered from the Pahalgam terror attack. You always remain in my thoughts. Jai Hind,” said Suryakumar Yadav, formerly Twitter

During the post-match press conference Suryakumar Yadav mentioned that the match fees was dedicated to the Indian Army so now the question arises is how much did Suryakumar Yadav earn in Asia Cup 2025?
The Indian players get INR 4 lakh per match and with seven matches they have played, each player earned INR 28 lakh. Hence, Suryakumar Yadav will be donating INR 28 lakhs to the armed forces and victims of Pahalgam attack.

India won the Asia Cup 2025 after defeating Pakistan by 5 wickets. Opting to bowl first, India restricted Pakistan at a score of 146 runs with top bowler being Kuldeep Yadav who spun his way to pick 4 wickets. Other than him, Jasprit Bumrah, Varun Chakaravarthy and Axar Patel picked 2 wickets each. While batting India was off to a rocky start as the Abhishek Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav and Shubman Gill lost early wickets. But Tilak Varma was the star batter, he took the match till the very end and sealed the win for India by forming steady partnership with Sanju Samson and Shivam Dube.
