IPL 2023: Defending Champion Gujarat Titans defeated Mumbai Indians by 62 runs in the second qualifier match played in Narendra Modi Stadium Ahmedabad. Now, GT will face 4-time IPL champion Chennai Super Kings in the Final match of IPL 2023.
Batting first, Gujarat put 233 runs on board by losing 3 wickets in 20 overs, in response Mumbai got all their batsmen out at 172. They did not even play the whole 20 overs.
Shubman Gill and Mohit Sharma emerged as the winning heroes for Gujarat in the second qualifier match. Gill played a brilliant knock of 129 in 60 balls. Later Mohit Sharma opened the claw and took 5 wickets by conceding 10 runs in 2.2 overs.
GT and CSK played the inaugural match of IPL-2023 in the Narendra Modi Stadium on March 31 and after 73 games both teams will face each other to lift the trophy in the same venue on May 28.
