There has been a lot of speculation regarding the participation of Phil Salt in IPL 2025 final but now ESPN Cricinfo has reported that Salt has arrived back in Ahmedabad after he went back home due to the birth of his child.

There were doubts regarding his participation after he missed the practice session with the team just ahead of the final at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Salt has played an extremely important role for RCB as an opener. Phil Salt has been among RCB’s best performers this season, hitting 387 runs in 12 games with a prodigious strike rate of 175.90 and an average of 35.18.

RCB will be playing its fourth final in 18 seasons and the team is still searching for maiden title. Royal Challengers Bengaluru played the Qualifier 1 against Punjab Kings and defeated them brutally and secured a spot in the IPL 2025 Final. While PBKS on the other hand are in solid form as they defeated Mumbai Indians in Qualifier 2 and their victory was led by Shreyas Iyer’s solid knock 87 runs.
