It has been reported that Josh Hazlewood will be joinig back RCB as the IPL 2025 resumes. Earlier, Hazlewood’s participation was contemplated by many as he has been the backbone of RCB’s pace bowling and has been constantly getting breakthroughs for the team.
The IPL 2025 was suspended after the India-Pakistan tensions escalated, and the Punjab Kings vs Delhi Capitals match was also abandoned due to blackout in Dharamsala stadium. Hazlewood has been extraordinary in the tournament and picked up 18 wickets but he has been facing a shoulder niggle and because of that his participation was in limbo.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will be playing the first match after IPL 2025 resumes against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). Currently, RCB is sitting at the second position in the IPL 2025 points table while KKR is at the sixth position.
