The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has summoned cricketer Yuvraj Singh and actor Sonu Sood in connection with illegal betting app. According to ANI, The Enforcement Directorate has summoned former cricketer Yuvraj Singh and Sonu Sood have been informed to appear for questioning at its headquarters in Delhi on September 23 in connection with illegal betting app 1xBet case.

The case involved alleged the links of money laundering with operations of 1x Bet app and suspected violations of the Indian law. Not just Yuvraj but former Indian cricketer Robin Uthappa has also been summoned by the ED. Uthappa is scheduled to appear for questioning on September 22, Yuvraj Singh on September 23 and Sonu Sood on September 24.

Many other cricketers like Suresh Raina and Shikhar Dhawan has also been called for questioning earlier by the Enforcement Directorate. The probe comes after the illegal betting apps allegedly duped numerous people and investors worth crores of money, evading huge amount of taxes.
