The second season of Delhi Premier League (DPL) is underway and the teams are all prepped up for a tough contest. Started on August 2, South Delhi Superstarz played the opening match against defending champions East Delhi Riders. With a target of 170 runs on board, East Delhi cruised smoothly with top-notch batting efforts of skipper Anuj Rawat (55) and Mayank Rawat (30), the duo led their team towards victory by 5 wickets.
With the season two even bigger and better all the eight teams are aiming to put up a strong competition. All the matches will be played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium and the final will be held on August 31.
