Sharma went without loss on 56 off a mere 17 balls, piloting his side to safety with a steady head and a strong bat.

Lakra Shines For Purani Dilli 6

Earlier, it was Dev Lakra who lit up the stadium for Purani Dilli 6 after early jolts threatened to derail their innings. The match got underway after a rain delay, and South Delhi’s Aman Bharti struck early, removing both Vansh Bedi and Samarth Seth in the opening over. But Lakra and Yug Gupta turned the game on its head with a ferocious counterattack.

Their 117-run partnership at the third wicket arrived at breakneck pace, while Gupta contributed with a fiery 38 off 14 deliveries before his innings was terminated by a run-out. Lakra, though, was in a different class altogether, scoring an unbeaten 85 off just 23 deliveries. His powerful hitting and mighty sixes set the crowd abuzz as Purani Dilli 6 registered a menacing 133/3 in 7 overs.
