Pacer Money Grewal stole spotlight as he delivered a breathtaking spell at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi on Wednesday. He picked up a stunning five-wicket haul which included a hattrick to dismantle the East Delhi Riders and seal a commanding win by 62 runs.
Chasing a target of 156, East Delhi received an early shock as Sujal Singh got dismissed for 1 in the second over. Then came in Grewal who took the center stage in the third over and displayed exceptional fast bowling skills. He took his first wicket by dismissing Hardik Sharma at mere score of 4, the he delivered a tight yorker to knock out Shivam Tripathi. Grewal then went on to dismiss East Delhi Riders captain Anuj Rawat as he was left completely beaten by the sharp pace which was bowled at the very first ball.
Grewal went on to dismiss Arpit Rana and Mayank Rawat, finishing with a spectacular figures of 5/23 in 4 overs. One of the highlights of the match was also that Aryavir Sehwag, son of Virender Sehwag made his debut in the DPL and he struck an impressive 22 off 16 balls. Yugal Saini contributed with a half-century while Jasvir Sehrawat held the innings together with an unbeaten 37 off 35.

Both East Delhi Riders and Central Delhi Kings have already qualified for the playoffs, but with this dashing win Central Delhi Kings are now at the first position in the points table with 15 points.
