The Dehradun Warriors is all prepped up for the Uttarakhand Premier League and with a well balanced squad, they will be aiming for the title this year. Yuvraj Chaudhary is the icon player who’ll be in the spotlight. The Warrior also have other key batters like Sanskar Rawat, Vaibhav Bhatt, and Aanjaneya Suryavanshi. With a blend of power hitters and versatile players, the Warriors are one of the teams to watch in the UPL. Their ability to post big scores and maintain pressure through bowling makes them a formidable squad in the league.
Talking to News24 in an exclusive interview, the head coach Manish Jha said “We have four openers. The final decision will depend on the opposition. Besides Sanskar and Yuvraj, we have Aditya Naithani and Harsh Rana as opening options. For now, Sanskar and Yuvraj are leading the race, but we’ll decide based on opposition strengths especially the right-left batting combinations.”

He hinted that there are four opening options out of the playing two will be decided based on the opposition the team is playing against.
“Not yet. We’ve finalized a group of 13 players, but the final XI is pending. We haven’t seen the main stadium yet. We’ll be inspecting it tomorrow. After that, the captain, I, and the rest of the coaching and management staff will finalize the starting lineup.”
