Indian batter Cheteshwar Pujara has retired from all forms of cricket. He last played for India in the World Test Championship 2023 final which was held against Australia at The Oval.
Pujara made the announcement about his retirement on social media and wrote an emotional message. He mentioned about how the Indian jersey was an honour for him and expressed his gratitude as he hung his boots from all forms of cricket.

"Wearing the Indian jersey, singing the anthem, and trying my best each time I stepped on the field - it’s impossible to put into words what it truly meant. But as they say, all good things must come to an end, and with immense gratitude I have decided to retire from all forms of Indian cricket. Thank you for all the love and support," he wrote on X.

Cheteshwar Pujara has had a beautiful career in which he played 103 Tests and 5 ODIs for India. In his Test career, he has scored 7195 runs in 103 matches, which includes 19 centuries and 35 half-centuries.
