Indian cricket legend Virat Kohli is on the verge of another record milestone as he prepares to make his 300th ODI game. The eagerly awaited match against New Zealand at Dubai on Sunday will witness the batting genius become only the seventh Indian cricketer to do so. In celebration of the special moment, his wife Anushka Sharma and older brother Vikas Kohli will travel to Dubai to witness the historic moment.

Though he showed glimpses of a return to form in the ODI series against England, it wasn’t enough to silence the doubters. His struggles continued in India’s Champions Trophy opener against Bangladesh, where he managed just 22 runs.

Kohli flourishes under pressure, and his long-awaited comeback came in the thrilling match against Pakistan in Dubai. His knock reminded everyone of his heroics against Pakistan in T20 World Cup 2022 in Melbourne. With a timeless shot to clinch the win, Kohli not only guided India to a nail-biting victory but also celebrated his 51st ODI century and became the fastest batter to achieve 14,000 ODI runs.
A Record-Breaking Career
Kohli’s records in ODIs are mind-boggling. In 299 games, he has scored 14,085 runs at 58.20 and a strike rate of 93.41 with 51 centuries and 73 half-centuries. His personal best is 193.
