Afghanistan shocked England by knocking them out of Champions Trophy 2025. The England Team led by Jos Buttler required a win to stay alive in the tournament but Afghanistan ruined all their hopes. England will now play against South Africa and its a must win for the proteas especially when Afghanistan manages to beat Australia on February 28 at Lahore's Gaddafi Stadium. A win for Afghanistan would move them to the top of the Group B table with four points, leaving Australia with three.
Meanwhile, Group A's scenario is clearer for both India and New Zealand as both the teams have qualified for the semi-finals.
