Pakistan’s Champions Trophy campaign began off to a disastrous start with a 60 runs defeat against New Zealand in the opening match at Karachi’s National Stadium on Wednesday. The top order collapsed completely, there was questionable bowling and poor fielding added on to the struggles.
Former England captain Michael Vaughan was left shocked to see that there was little to no crowd in the opening match of Champions Trophy 2025. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) did a lot of hard work to ensure that the stadiums were ready on time but the efforts seem to be in vain as there were very less fans.
