Yashasvi Jaiswal Inexperienced In ODI Format
Jaiswal has had a strong domestic List A record, accumulating 1526 runs in 33 games, with an impressive average of 52.62. After a stellar year in 2024, where he was the highest run-scorer among Indian batters, he would have surely hoped to secure his place in India’s Champions Trophy squad. Despite this, his ODI performance wasn’t as outstanding as his Test and T20I numbers, which may have influenced the selectors’ decision.
