Champions Trophy 2025: ‘Matter Of National Pride’ – Mohsin Naqvi Not Willing To ‘Compromise’ Drops BIG Bombshell Again

The future of Champions Trophy is still uncertain as the final schedule is still not released and the conflict between BCCI and PCB still looms. Amidst all that happening the 76th meeting of the Governing Board of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) was presided over by Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, where he formally approved decisions passed in previous sessions and highlight about how Pakistan is ready to host the upcoming tournament.

On the agenda during the session was a detailed update of the preparations for the ICC Champions Trophy. Chairman Mohsin Naqvi also enlightened the board on essential preparations and logistics for hosting this event of great glory.

“I have always advocated for Pakistan and cricket’s victory since day one,” stated Chairman Naqvi, which assured PCB’s readiness to organize the Champions Trophy. He expressed pride in Pakistan’s principled stance.

“Champions Trophy is a matter of national pride, and we will not let it be compromised,” said Mohsin Naqvi

Stadium Renovations On Track For Champions Trophy

Mohsin Naqvi ensured the board that stadium renovation work will be perfectly done way before the event of Champions Trophy.

This renovation, he said would be just an upgrade work so that Pakistan is really well-equipped and ready enough to host this tournament successfully and have a pleasant experience both from the teams’ point of view and audiences’.
