Pollard washes Izharulhaq Naveed fiercely
Kieron Pollard changed gears in the 15th over and thrashed leg-spinner Izharulhaq Naveed. The bowler bowled a short-pitched delivery, which gave Pollard enough time to get on the back foot and shoot down the leg side. Three of his four sixes crossed a distance of 100 metres, while the other one was also a big hit of 95 metres. A total of 28 runs were scored in the over that turned the match in favour of TKR.
The veteran player was recently part of the MI New York winning team in the inaugural edition of the Major League Cricket (MLC). He missed the playoffs due to injury but recovered in time to lead TKR in the 2023 CPL.
