ICC has confirmed that Champions Trophy will be played across Pakistan and a neutral venue. It has also been officially announced that India and Pakistan matches hosted by either of the country for future ICC events during the 2024-2027 cycle will be played at a neutral venue.
This will apply to ICC Men’s Champions Trophy which is hosted by Pakistan as well as ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 which is hosted by India and ICC Men’s T20 World Cup which will be hosted by India and Sri Lanka.
The eight teams that will be participating in the event will be Afghanistan, Australia, England, Bangladesh, India, New Zealand, South Africa and hosting nation Pakistan.
