Akash Deep delivered an incredible performance in the 1st Test against Bangladesh by playing a crucial role in India’s massive 280-run victory in Chennai. He took two wickets in the first innings and made a significant contribution for India to go 1-0 up in the series. He will again come under the spotlight when the second and last Test is scheduled on Friday in Kanpur.

Having made his international debut in February, the 27-year-old will look for some more good form if he is indeed taken into the playing XI of India against Australia in the last three matches.
