The Indian cricket team, touring Australia, will play the last private intra-squad warm-up match at WACA in Perth starting Friday, though the Board of Control for Cricket in India has restricted public access to the event. This follows India’s first training session at the historic Test venue, two weeks ahead of the opening game of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy series in Perth. The three-day warm-up match is scheduled from Friday to Sunday, but the general public is not to be allowed to enter as the BCCI has put heavy security arrangements around the stadium, as reported by The West Australian.
Team India Practice In Nets
India, though, is maintaining the netting drills for the much-anticipated series, which begins at Optus Stadium on November 22. WACA ground has been covered black in the backdrop of street visibility. Reports also indicate that West Australian cricket employees have been told to deposit their mobile phones outside the stadium and cannot click photographs inside the ground either.
KL Rahul, Yashasvi Jaiswal, and wicket-keeper-batter Rishabh Pant were spotted in the nets as the series is around the corner.

Rohit Sharma Likely To Miss The 1st Test
It has also been reported that Rohit Sharma will not be playing the first Test at Perth, following which Jaiswal and Rahul are expected to open the batting for India in the Perth Test. The 37-year-old did not fly out with the team to Perth and the Indian management is still unsure if he will make it to the series opener.
