As soon as Shardul Thakur came, he started hitting shots all around the ground. Thakur scored a half-century in just 20 balls. Which is the second-fastest century by any batsman in the ongoing season. With the batting of Shardul, Kolkata moved towards a good score. Shardul Thakur batted brilliantly as soon as he came in, he grabbed the driving seat by hitting two sixes in two balls in the same over of Michael Bracewell.
This is his fastest fifty of the season. Although Jos Buttler of Rajasthan Royals also scored a half-century in 20 balls. Butler completed Fifty in 20 balls against Hyderabad. Now, Shardul Thakur has also equalled this.
