India’s star cricketer Smriti Mandhana and music director Palash Muchhal were all set to tie the knot on November 23 but the festivities came to an abrupt halt due to unexpected health scare in both the families. Smriti’s father Srinivas Mandhana suddenly fell ill on the morning of wedding and was immediately taken to the hospital in Sangli. Around this time, Palash’s health also worsened due to which he was also admitted. Both of them have now returned home and recovering but still there is no date of the ceremony.
One move that gained huge attention was that Smriti Mandhana deleted all her posts of wedding with Palash Muchhal after it was informed that the wedding has been postponed. But on Tuesday, the social media was flooded with claims that both .Smriti and Palash will be getting married on December 7. However those reports are false and the families made no such confirmation.

Addressing these rumours of new wedding date, Smriti Mandhana’s brother gave the final verdict and mentioned – “I have no idea about these rumours. As of now, it (the wedding) is still postponed,” Smriti’s brother Shravan Mandhana told HT, dismissing the speculation.
Amid all the growing speculations, neither Smriti Mandhana and Palash Muchhal have given an official statement. According to those close to the families and the wedding organizers, the postponement was strictly due to a medical emergency. Apart from this, both the families have stayed quiet and are maintaining their privacy as speculations continue to spread online.
