Chetan Sharma Resign: Indian senior cricket selection committee chairman Chetan Sharma has stepped down from his position. As per News Agency ANI report, he has sent his resignation to BCCI Secretary Jay Shah who has accepted it.
In a sting video Chetan Sharma was heard making allegations over a former captain and board’s office bearers. In the video the former chief selector talked about Virat Kohli captaincy row and future’s plans for India’s cricket team captain.

Who will pick Test Team for remaining two Tests vs Australia
Indian Cricket selection committee has to choose a Team for the last Two Test matches for ongoing Border Gavaskar Trophy vs Australia. The selection panel headed by Sharma had announced the squad for the first two Tests. Now, the Selection committee is without a chairman, the question is who will select the team for next 2 Test matches.
The five member selection committee left with S Sharath, Subroto Banerjee, Salil Ankola and Shiv Sunder Das. The Indian cricket team is currently playing the 2nd Test match of 4 match Test series in Delhi. India registered a special win in the series first Test match played in Nagpur.
