The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) added 19 players to the list of players going for the IPL 2026 auction on Monday, taking the total number of players to 369 players, less than a day before the starting of the auction process at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi. According to reports by Cricbuzz, this final addition to the player list by both the BCCI and the franchises has been described by officials from both camps as unprecedented so close to the auction.
The most notable inclusion is that of the Bengal captain - Abhimanyu Easwaran, who has been marked with a baser price of 30 lacs. The seasoned domestic cricketer who has been a consistent contender for a place in the national side appears to be a good addition in the spreadsheet.

There are several international players too. South African wicket-keeper batsman Kyle Verreynne makes his entry with a base price of 1.25 crores, while another South African all-rounder Ethan Bosch is in with 75 lakhs. Zimbabwe pacer Blessing Muzarabani, known as the tallest and fastest in the team, is in with 75 lakhs, while New Zealand pacer Ben Sears is one of the costliest late entrants with 1.50 crores. Australian all-rounder Chris Green, known internationally in international T20 leagues, makes his entry in the list with 75 lakhs, while Malaysian international Virandeep Singh makes an entry with 30 lakhs.
