The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Monday announced the Indian team for the three-match T20 series against Ireland. Star Bowler Jasprit Bumrah will lead the team.
Bumrah is returning to Team India after almost 10 months and has been given the responsibility of captaincy. He played his last match for India in September 2022, and since then he was recovering from injuries.
Rituraj Gaikwad Will be vice-captain of the team, he is also captaining the Indian team in the Asian Games. Young players like Tilak Verma, Rinku Singh, Jitesh Sharma, Shivam Dubey, and Shahbaz Ahmed have also got a chance in this team.
India’s tour of Ireland will start on the 18th of August. All three matches of the series will be played in Malahide, Dublin, and the matches will start at 7:30 PM IST. India vs Ireland is 2nd and 3rd T20 will be played on August 20 and 23 respectively.
