Bangladesh Premier League: Controversy seems to be brewing in the Bangladesh Premier League. After the allegations of match-fixing, a new issue is emerging in BPL regarding the non-payment of players’ salaries.
The franchise is delaying the salaries of not only the players but also the support staff, due to which the players are not able to pay even the bus fare. The driver had kept the kits and bags of the players of the Durbar Rajshahi team for not paying the bus fare.
After which now Bangladesh Premier League is seen to be ashamed. According to the report, some players in BPL have received only 25 percent of their match fees so far, while some players have not received a single penny yet.

Players Are Facing A Financial Crunch In BPL
According to Cricbuzz, Durbar Rajshahi’s foreign players and staff have not yet received their payments. This issue has become more heated now. The bus driver transporting the Durbar Rajshahi team stopped the players’ kit bags due to non-payment of dues. The bus driver insisted that he would not return the kit bags without payment.
“It is a matter of regret and shame. If they had paid us, we would have returned the kit bags to the players. Till now I had not opened my mouth, but now I am saying that if they pay us, we can go,” said bus driver Mohammad Babul.

Players Stuck In A Hotel
Due to non-payment on time, the foreign players participating in BPL were stuck in their hotel in Dhaka. During this time, the players were not even able to contact the team management. Players like Mohammad Haris, Aftab Alam, Mark Deyal, Ryan Burl, and Miguel Cummins had to face problems.
