Australia's strongest squad is now in big trouble as uncertainty looms over the participation of key players in Champions Trophy 2025. The marquee tournament will be starting from February 19 and Australia is hit with back-to-back injury setbacks.

The first blow came in for Australia when Mitchell Marsh got ruled out due to back injury. It is unlikely that he will play even the remaining domestic season, but there is a possiblity that he will appear in Indian Premier League (IPL) for Lucknow Super Giants (LSG).
