Mitchell Marsh has been named as the captain of Australia in the three-match ODI series against India which will be starting from October 19 in Perth. The squad will also feature top pacers like Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood who will set a tough stage for both Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. The Indian duo will be making an international appearance after announcing retirement from T20Is and Tests.
Left-hander Matthew Renshaw will also make his return to Australia’s ODI setup for the first time since 2022 after an impressive run with Australia A in Queensland. Alex Carey will miss the first ODI which will be held in Perth because he will be representing South Australia in the Sheffield Shield clash against Queensland at the Adelaide Oval.

Josh Inglis will be a part of the T20 squad after recovering from a minor calf injury while Nathan Ellis rejoins the side after the birth of his first child. Glenn Maxwell will remain unavailable for 2 opening games due to a wrist fracture in the New Zealand tour.
Pat Cummins will not be a part of any white ball match as Cricket Australia will manage his workload ahead of the Ashes series against England which will begin from November 21 in Perth.
