India Vs Pakistan, Asia Cup 2023: India's star batsman Virat Kohli and captain Rohit Sharma struggled to get runs against Pakistan in a match against Pakistan on Saturday. They tried hard to stay on the crease against Pakistan's pace attack. While Rohit Sharma played 22 balls and scored just 11, Virat Kohli was able to score only 4 runs in 7 balls. Virat and Rohit were bowled out by left-arm seamer Shaheen Afridi. Both the batter struggled against the left-arm pacer.

Rohit became victim 6 times and Virat 4 times

This is not the first time Rohit-Virat has struggled against left-arm bowlers. As per the statistics, since 2021, Rohit has been dismissed 6 times against the left-arm bowler in 12 matches. Whereas Virat got out in 4 out of 9 matches. Against left-arm bowlers, Rohit Sharma has an average of 22.8 while Virat Kohli has an average of just 21.8. Earlier in the T-20 World Cup in Dubai in 2021, something similar had happened. Rohit was sent to the pavilion by Shaheen LBW on the very first ball. After this, Kohli was also dismissed by Shaheen after getting him caught by Mohammad Rizwan. In the match, Team India could score 151 runs, which Pakistan won on the basis of Babar Azam's 68 runs and Mohammad Rizwan's 79 runs.
