Asia Cup 2023, India Vs Pakistan: In the match against India Pakistan made a big record in the history of the Asia Cup. In the match that was played at Pallekele Cricket Stadium in Sri Lanka on Saturday, the Pakistan team bowled out the Indian batsmen for 266 runs in 48.5 overs. Team India had a bad start. But, Ishaan Kishan and Hardik Pandya batted brilliantly.

However, after this, Pakistan’s fast bowlers made a comeback and took all 10 wickets. Shaheen Afridi took 4 wickets for 35 runs in 10 overs, while Naseem Shah took 3 wickets for 36 runs in 8.5 overs. Haris Rauf took 3 wickets for 58 runs in 9 overs. Meanwhile, Pakistan made a big record in the history of the Asia Cup.

Pakistan became the first team in the Asia Cup to take all 10 wickets by all fast bowlers. This happened for the first time when a team’s fast bowlers took all 10 wickets. However, Pakistan gave a chance to three spin all-rounders in this match, but Shadab Khan, Mohammad Nawaz, and Salman Ali could not take a single wicket.

Match Called off due to rain

There was a shadow of rain on the match. Batting first, Team India scored 266 runs in 48.5 overs. Pakistan team could not bat due to rain and the match was abandoned. In this way, India and Pakistan were given one point each. After this match, Pakistan has qualified for Super-4. Whereas India’s next match will be against Nepal on 4th September.
