Bigg Boss star and actress Shehnaaz Gill has finally spoken about the ongoing rumours which have been linking her with India's top cricketer Shubman Gill. The speculation was fueled largely due to their shared username which has been making rounds since a very long time now.
Shehnaaz received fame after her stint in Bigg Boss 13 and since then she has appeared in several movies and hit music videos. She also made her Bollywood debut in Salman Khan's film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. Shehnaaz made an appearance ion Ranveer Allahbadia's podcast where she was asked if there is any family connection with Shubman Gill.

Responding to that, Shehnaaz light-heartedly quipped that both of them come from the same state and share the same surname.
"He must be my brother. He's probably from that side, maybe from our side, from the Amritsar side. So when he trends, my trend also runs in between. It's true, there must be some connection of brother and sister," said Shehnaaz.
"I asked myself, and this is the answer I got-that we belong to the same side. So yes, there must be some connection. That's good. He's playing well. Yes, and he's very lovely (bohot pyara hai)," she added.
Shubman Gill was recently appointed as the Test captain of India after Rohit Sharma announced his retirement in May 2025. He led the Indian team in five-match Test series against England and was successfully able to level it. Gill was then made the ODI captain of India and the vice-captain in T20Is, this makes him a very important figure in the Indian cricket.
