Absence of Jasprit Bumrah and Ravindra Jadeja

Just when India had though that they are ready to revenge their early exit from last season of T20 World Cup, they started getting plethora of bad news.

Starting from Ravindra Jadeja, it was so unprecedented that Men in Blue would go to Australia without their star all-rounder. During the Asia Cup 2022, Jadeja suffered knee injury and despite all the efforts of the doctors and therapist, his recovery wasn’t possible till marquee tournament.

The next big blow was the ruling out of Jasprit Bumrah. India missed Bumrah in Aisa Cup 2022 as well when he was trying to recover from an old injury. He made a comeback in bi-lateral series but that was all. He again suffered a stress fracture, causing him to pass the opportunity of World Cup.
