Abhishek Sharma had the most mermorable night as he delivered an outstanding performance which led India towards a commanding victory in the fifth T20I at Wankhede Stadium at Mumbai. He scored 135 runs off just 54 balls which took India’s total score to 249 in 20 overs.
Following this Alastair Cook’s comments went absolutely viral, he heaped huge praise for Abhishek Sharma and lauded him for his incredible performance. He said: “Abhishek Sharma hit more sixes in two hours than I hit in my whole life”.

Though Abhishek didn’t win the title for the fastest century, he accomplished another feat of hitting the most sixes for an Indian in a single T20I innings. Sharma smashed 13 sixes in this match and broke Rohit Sharma’s earlier record of 10 sixes, while he was playing against Sri Lanka in the year 2017.
