Afghanistan Asia Cup 2023 Squad: Afghanistan Cricket Board has announced its seventeen-member squad for Asia Cup 2023. Sri Lanka and Pakistan are jointly hosting the tournament, which will be commencing from August 30. 

Three-star players Najibullah Zadran, Karim Janat, and Rahmat Shah have returned to the squad, while young bowler Noor Ahmed, who had an impressive IPL season for Gujarat Titans, has also been selected for the Asia Cup. Hashmatullah Shahidi will lead the team.

Azmatullah Omarzai has not got a place in Asia Cup 2023. He sustained an injury during the recently concluded ODI series against Pakistan.

Hashmatullah Shahidi (Captain), Ibrahim Zadran, Rahmanullah Gurbaz (WK), Rahmat Shah, Riaz Hasan, Najibullah Zadran, Mohammad Nabi, Ikram Alikhil, Rashid Khan, Gulbadin Naib, Karim Janat, Abdul Rehman, Sharafuddin Ashraf, Mujeeb ur Rehman, Noor Ahmed, Mohd Salim Safi, Fazalhaq Farooqi.
