India’s spinner Yuzvendra Chahal and Choreographer Dhanashree Verma are officially divorced now and the couple was reportedly living separately for the past 18 months. On Thursday, March 21 the Mumbai court granted them divorce. Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma tied the knot in 2020 and in March 2025, their marriage officially ended.

The dreamy love story started in 2020 during the COVID-19 lockdown. It all started when Yuzvendra Chahal enrolled in Dhanashree Verma’s online dance classes. Just after few months of dating, the couple announced their engagement on social media and surprised their fans.

In December 2020, Chahal and Dhanashree tied the knot in Gurgaon. The wedding was an intimate affair attended by only close friends and family. The couple soon became one of the favourites and shared each other’s pictures.
