Ratan Tata, a Padma Vibhushan awardee and chairman emeritus of Tata Sons, breathed his last at the age 86 on the night of October 9 (Wednesday). He was in a Mumbai hospital’s intensive care unit for the past few days. The tributes are pouring in from all different sectors, and there are many prominent personalities who have announced condolences and honored the phenomenal work of Tata, through which the Tata Group gained worldwide recognition.

The cricketing world came forward to bid farewell by paying their tributes- Rohit Sharma, Ravi Shastri, Shikhar Dhawan, Virender Sehwag, Robin Uthappa, Harbhajan Singh, Yusuf Pathan, Irfan Pathan, and other IPL franchises like the Punjab Kings, came out to express their grief on social media.
