In the 5th game of the Women's Premier League 2025, Mumbai Indians were against Gujarat Giants as they registered their first win of the season. In a bid to change the fortunes of the team, Mumbai Indians skipper Harmanpreet Kaur made drastic changes to the playing XI. Saiqa Ishak and Kalita have been left out, while Parunika Sisodia and 16-year-old G Kamalini have been added to the playing XI.

G Kamalini Becomes History Maker On Her Debut

G Kamalini has set history as the youngest player ever to make her debut in the Women's Premier League. The 16 years and 213 days old Kamalini becomes the new record holder by surpassing Shabnam Shakeel, who stood at 16 years and 263 days, and Parshwa Chopra, who had made her debut at 16 years and 312 days.
