Australia registered a seven-wicket win over Pakistan in the third T20I of the three-match series at the Bellerive Oval ground in Hobart. The Australian team showcased a brilliant team performance and at the end and ended up winning the series by 3-0. The Pakistani team was totally clueless throughout the series and never performed well in any department. While, Pakistan lost the match, they are never on the back seat when it comes to entertain the fans. On the fifth ball of the first innings in the AUS vs PAK 3rd T20I 2024, Shaheen Shah Afridi bowled a fullish length delivery on the fifth ball of the first over in the second innings. The ball took the edge of McGurk's bat and went towards the off side. At the end, Jehandad Khan gave a big chase towards the ball and dived to save a boundary. However, he was unable to save a four but it resulted in his pants slipping off his waist. The video for the same was shared by Cricket Australia on their official 'X' handle.

The Pakistani team registered a first-innings score of 117 runs while batting first wherein Babar Azam ended up playing an innings of 41 runs from 28 balls. However, no other batter stayed at the crease for long and the wickets kept on tumbling from the other end. The Australian team chased down the target with ease by losing only three wickets wherein Marcus Stoinis played a match decisive knock of 61* runs.
