After conquering the Aussies in Perth, India is now heading towards the Adelaide Oval, Adelaide for its next expedition. But the thing that has changed for the Adelaide Test is the return of Captain Rohit Sharma from his paternity leave and leaving of Coach Gautam Gambhir from Australia due to personal reasons, a source from BCCI told The Indian Express.

Rohit Sharma who missed the opening Perth Test after the birth of his second child, arrived in Australia on Sunday. He was seen seated alongside Gambhir in the dressing room on Day 4 of the opening Test and witnessed India registering a memorable win by 295 runs.
Although coach Gautam Gambhir will return before the second Test at the Oval, the Indian team’s support staff, comprising bowling coach Morne Morkel, assistant coaches Abhishek Nayar and Ryan ten Doeschate, and fielding coach T Dilip, will oversee training sessions in consultation with captain Rohit Sharma. A source told The Indian Express,
“Gambhir has informed us that he will be travelling back home and will join the team before the start of the second Test. He has cited personal reasons and the BCCI has accepted his request,”

The Indian team will be leaving for Canberra for a two-day Pink-Ball practice game against Prime Minister’s XI which is likely to initiate on Saturday, 30 November.
