Zhang’s bronze marks China’s first medal in this event since the Rio 2016 Olympics. Her performance contributed to China’s impressive showing in the Paris shooting competitions, where the Chinese delegation won a total of seven medals: four gold, two silver, and one bronze, according to CGTN.

Further adding to China’s medal tally, Xie Yu won gold in the men’s 10m air pistol event, and Liu Yukun claimed victory in the men’s 50m rifle 3 positions final. Qi Ying secured a silver medal in the men’s trap final, rounding out the Chinese shooting team’s accomplishments at the Paris Olympics.
