India’s badminton star PV Sindhu is all prepped up to face the rising teen sensation Unnati Hooda in an exciting round of 16 clash at the China Open 2025. Sindhu at the age of 30 still goes strong as she won the last match against World No.6 Japan’s Tomoka Miyazaki. The two-time Olympic medalist won 21-15, 8-21, 21-17. The victory marked Sindhu’s first-win over a player who has been ranked in the top-10. World No. 15 Sindhu rebounded in the third game, maintaining a strong grip on the match to close out strongly and secure a hard-fought victory. It was also redemption for her earlier loss to Miyazaki in the Swiss Open last year.
In the recent times, Sindhu has been struggling to find her form and even in Japan Open she crashed out in the first round. But this can be a chance for her to bounce back strongly.
