Omarzai’s Match-Winning 5-fer
Once it was looking that England would chase it down easily with Joe Root batting brilliantly, but Azmatullah Omarzai had some other plans. He scalped 5-wickets to break England’s back to win a thriller.

Another Pitch Invasion!
Once the game was done and dusted, there was an incident where a pitch invader jumped onto the field and joined the Afghan-side and started celebrating. One of the security personnel pulled out that invader.
This is not the first time it is happening, there have been a lot of invasions happened in this tournament. Recently, in a game between New Zealand and Bangladesh, a invader who was supporting a political party tried to grab New Zealand star Rachin Ravindra from behind.
PCB’s Statement On Ravindra’s Case
“The PCB has taken serious note of the security breach that occurred yesterday when a spectator entered the field of play. Ensuring the safety of players and officials remains our top priority,” a statement from the Pakistan Cricket Board read after the Ravindra incident.
“The individual involved was arrested and presented before a court of law today (Tuesday). In addition, he has been permanently banned from entering all cricket venues in Pakistan,” the statement added.
