Shivam Dube replaces Yashasvi Jaiswal
The Indian team is relying on spinners for the Champions Trophy 2025, which makes it seem that the Dubai pitch can be helpful for spinners. In such a situation, Team India will also have to change the batting order. Shivam Dube can prove to be a better option in such a situation. Dube proves to be a very dangerous batter against spinners, so he can replace Yashasvi Jaiswal in the Champions Trophy team. Jaiswal is Team India’s backup opener, apart from this he has not yet made his debut in the ODI format. Dube recently performed well with both bat and ball in the T20 series against England.
Varun Chakaravarthy replaces Axar Patel
All-rounder Axar Patel had a mediocre T20 series against England. For which he can now be punished by dropping him from the Champions Trophy team. BCCI and team management are very happy with Varun Chakaravarthy’s performance at this time, due to which he has also been made a part of the ODI series against England. Now Chakaravarthy can also be made a part of the team in the Champions Trophy. Like the ODI World Cup, once again Axar can be dropped from the team just before the Champions Trophy.
Harshit Rana replaces Jasprit Bumrah
There is still a big question mark on the fitness of Jasprit Bumrah, who has become the biggest superstar of world cricket. Bumrah has now been dropped from the ODI series against England by the BCCI. If reports are to be believed, Bumrah may now be out of the Champions Trophy 2025 as well. To replace him, the team can give a chance to Harshit Rana, who has also been Bumrah’s replacement in the series against England.
