Ravi Shastri does not agree with Gautam Gambhir’s statement
Team India’s head coach Gautam Gambhir refused to consider the match between India and Pakistan as special. On which former Indian coach Ravi Shastri was questioned. During a conversation with ICC host Sanjana Ganesan in ‘The ICC Review Show’, Shastri said that
“I was the coach for 7 years. Whenever I was asked, I said the same thing that Gambhir said, but I want to tell you the truth that deep inside we also know that this is a bigger match than what we are saying. You have to say this for the media, but deep inside you want to win it. Because if you don’t do it, you will be reminded of it till the next time you play against Pakistan.”
